Tobacco
Informing children of the dangers that tobacco use poses to our health is a priority from earliest childhood since the estimated average age for a first cigarette is 13 in the Pacific Islands, and lung cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the region. Talking about smoking to your classes helps to begin prevention at an early age.
