Energy and mineral resources

The planet’s energy and mining resources are what drive development and the survival of the human race on Earth today. Exponential industrial growth has been achieved by harnessing fossil energy such as coal, natural gas and oil, but the issue today is the impact that using these types of energy has had on our environment. They are partly responsible for air pollution and global warming and so, in order to offset the damage, new renewable energy sources are being developed today using various limitless natural resources such as solar, wind, water, geothermal and biomass power.
